2007 Browncoat Ball in Philadelphia
Philadelphia is one of the oldest and most historically significant cities in the United States. Philadelphia was the center of the independence movement during the American Revolutionary War. The Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution were both written in Philadelphia, and signed in Independence hall. In the 18th century, Philadelphia was the first US Capital and the most populous city in the United States.
So get ready to break out your fanciest duds, immerse yourself in the history of the independent spirit, and once again rub elbows with Browncoats from all over the country (and beyond). What:
2007 Browncoat BallWhen:

'Allo, this be your illustrious leader. Firstly, apologies for not posting sooner. I actually completely forgot I'd made this community. Well, it was during the time when I was studying for exams. I do lots of things in those times that I'd rather forget....moving on!
Serenity is released tomorrow! Yay! How incedibly excited am I? Very, that's how. I will be missing two lectures tomorrow morning to go buy it, and watch it over and over no doubt lol. If I wasn't so ill I'm sure I'd be queueing up outside WHSmiths from midnight tonight. Anyone else too excited for words about it? Current Mood: sick
Don't get too excited, but at this time I seem to have one spare ticket for the Wed 24th Aug 21.45pm showing of Serenity. I'm a bit sad that I can't think of any more local pals that I could persuade to go with me. It's a lonely obsession!
Can anyone think of a really good reason I should let you have my spare ticket?
Great idea to have a Brit firefly community :)
Although, I might have to be careful about spoilers myself, as I'm going up to the Edinburgh Film Festival to see the Premiere in a couple of weeks :)
Are there any ocnventions going on? I haven't heard about any.
